lyrics

That's Me In The Mirror

The world outside is empty
It has nothing to offer and nothing to share
People's minds are empty
No more ideas or dreams or wonders or subjects to talk about
Borders have closed down
I'm not going back there
Corporations and politicians
Took over beyond any doubt

When I look into the mirror
I see what it seems to be my face
Unsure if that is the real me

I played my part but nobody understood
I tried everything I could
I thought they would

Sitting down on your coach
Watching TV and asking yourself
Why nothing changes to me ?
Why nothing changes to you ?

Cars, house, plane, drugs, holiday,
Work, money, girls, vote, furniture, sex, wine ...

What is all that about ?

That's me in the mirror

What have I become ?

What have we become ?
